Inventors include P V Krishnaprasad Varyar; Durga Prasad P; and Bhadra Prasad P.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: Portable cremation stand with dual-sided forced air combustion system relates to a portable modular cremation system comprising a rigid combustion platform (2) provided with a perforated support plate (3) for supporting combustible materials and a deceased body. A centrally positioned perforated air distribution pipe (9), connected to detachable blower assemblies (1) mounted on blower support frames (8), supplies balanced forced air beneath the combustion bed to promote substantially uniform combustion. A gas inlet connection (4) facilitates ignition of the combustible materials. Detachable locking arrangements (5), base plates (6), blower housings (7), detachable enclosure panels, and a thermal insulation board positioned beneath the combustion platform enable rapid assembly, dismantling, safe operation, and convenient transportation. The modular system is suitable for deployment in low water table areas, open terraces, remote locations, and temporary cremation facilities, providing efficient combustion, improved thermal efficiency, reduced fuel consumption, and substantially complete cremation.
