The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable ethanol production unit (100) for converting sugar-rich biomass into ethanol, comprising a grinding unit (102) for reducing dried biomass into fine powder, a mixing container (104) for homogenizing biomass powder with water to produce a sugar-rich slurry, a gravity-assisted segregation tank (106) configured as a tall narrow cylindrical vessel for separating sugar-rich liquid supernatant from fibrous biomass pulp through natural sedimentation without requiring external filtration or centrifugation equipment, a dead-weight-based filtration tool (108) for extracting residual sugar-rich liquid from settled pulp, fermentation tanks (110) with manually operable impellers for converting sugars into ethanol, and a distillation unit (112) for separating purified ethanol. The entire assembly is mounted on a wheeled frame enabling transport and deployment in decentralized locations. (Fig.1)
