MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641050049 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education on April 20, 2026, for Portable Evaporative Air Cooler Blower With Peltier Cooled Water Circulation.

Inventors include Dr. S. Shasi Anand; and Dr. P. Jayakumar.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: PORTABLE EVAPORATIVE AIR COOLER BLOWER WITH PELTIER COOLED WATER CIRCULATION A portable evaporative air cooling apparatus includes a cabin (1) housing a water storage tank (2), a submersible water pump (3), and a blower fan (4) arranged for air circulation through a fiber foam slab (11). Water is circulated through a water pipeline (9) towards a water jacket holder (8) positioned in contact with a thermoelectric cold side unit (7). Heat absorbed from circulating water is transferred to a thermoelectric 10 hot side unit (6) and dissipated through a metal heat sink plate (5). The cooled water is distributed over the fiber foam slab (11) to maintain wetted surface for evaporative cooling of air forced by the blower fan (4). The controller switch (1 0) regulates operation of electrical components. Continuous circulation of cooled water improves reduction of air temperature. The apparatus provides compact structure suitable for 15 localized cooling without use of refrigerant or compressor.
