Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable intraocular pressure measuring device (1) for facilitating non-contact measurement of intraocular pressure, particularly for glaucoma screening and monitoring. The device comprises a housing (1a) accommodating a nozzle assembly (11), a syringe assembly (21), a spring assembly (31), a trigger assembly (41), an imaging unit (51), a control unit (61), a power supply unit (71), and a user interface unit (81). The syringe assembly (21), in cooperation with the spring assembly (31) and the trigger assembly (41), generates a controlled air pulse that is discharged through the nozzle assembly (11) towards the corneal surface. The imaging unit (51), comprising a camera (52), captures images of the eye to facilitate positioning and alignment of the device, while the control unit (61) processes the captured images, the user interface unit (81) displays the measured intraocular pressure values, thereby enabling portable, reliable, and efficient glaucoma screening.
