Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a portable, pen-like language translation device designed to scan and translate printed or handwritten text. The device incorporates an optical character recognition (OCR) camera to capture text, which is processed by a processor to perform translation, shorthand recognition, and answer queries. The translation engine translates the text into multiple languages and can output the translated text via text-to-speech (TTS) or transmit it to external devices through Bluetooth for further use. An AI module allows the device to answer general questions, solve problems, and provide definitions. The device also features a memory module for storing scanned text, translation history, and shorthand dictionaries, enabling offline functionality. Powered by a portable battery, the device combines text scanning, translation, shorthand recognition, query-solving, and wireless communication in a compact, user-friendly design suitable for diverse applications.
