Abstract: ABSTRACT PORTABLE NON-INVASIVE EYE PRESSURE MONITORING DEVICE The present invention discloses a portable non-invasive eye pressure monitoring device (120) for glaucoma patients to eliminate the clinical visits for monitoring the pressure. The portable non-invasive device comprises a rechargeable battery and a microscope. The microscope (100) is configured to position the patient’s eye to capture the clear sclera images for measuring the eye pressure by means of sequential operations. The LED light (101) is configured to provide consistent/even illumination for capturing sclera images. The said intensity can be adjusted to avoid glare or shadows due to uneven lighting. The objective lens (102) is configured to focus on the sclera by highlighting the blood vessel to ensure the sharp/clear image. The image sensor is configured to capture the light and magnified image from the objective lens and converts it into digital format. The processing unit (104) is configured to control the operations from image acquisition to eye pressure estimation. The processing unit comprises a pre-processing module, detection module and a pressure estimation module. The processing unit (104) finally indicates the intraocular pressure using the vessel pattern to the user through the display device. The present invention (120) will help to monitor the eye pressure instantly without any clinical visits.
