For example, pulsed power systems may output instantaneous power up to about 1 terawatt. In example embodiments, a power system includes a generator and a switch. The generator may comprise one or more conductive layers and one or more dielectric layers arranged in alternating layers in a spiral geometry, wherein at least one of the one or more dielectric layers comprises a polarizable dielectric material. The switch may be connected at the input end of the one or more conductive layers.
