MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641126081 A) filed by Smira M Deshpande; and Mandar M Deshpande on October 22, 2026, for Pravaah - A System And Method For Coherence-Gated, Multi-Rail Cash-Flow Underwriting Of Small Businesses.
Inventors include Smira M Deshpande; and Mandar M Deshpande.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides computer-implemented system (100) and method for assessing small business creditworthiness by measuring coherence among independent cash-flow data rails. The system (100) ingests data from at least three rails: a reported rail (112) from tax filings, a received rail (114) from digital payment platforms, and a realised rail (116) from bank account credits. A transaction cleaning engine (120) filters non-business transactions from the received rail. A coherence engine (130) computes pairwise divergences among the rails and generates Cash-Flow Coherence Index (CCI), quantifying agreement on a scale of zero to one hundred. The CCI maps to coherence grade that gates automated lending decisions, withholding automated lending figures when the rails are incoherent. A capacity engine (140) calculates available headroom anchored to the realised rail. A decision engine (150) applies coherence-based haircut, while post-disbursement monitor (170) tracks coherence drift, collections, and realisation to provide early warnings of credit deterioration.
