Abstract: ABSTRACT PREDICTIVE FAULT DETECTION SYSTEM FOR WATER PURIFIERS USING MULTI-SENSOR AND MACHINE LEARNING A predictive fault detection system (100) for water purifiers comprises a sensing unit (104) comprising a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) sensor (110) configured to measure dissolved solids concentration in water, a turbidity sensor (112) configured to detect suspended particles in water, and a current sensor (114) configured to monitor electrical current drawn by a pump. A microcontroller (102) is communicatively coupled to the sensing unit (104) and configured to collect sensor data and transmit the sensor data to a processing unit (106). The processing unit (106) is configured to validate the sensor data, apply a smoothing technique to reduce noise, perform temporal trend analysis to identify gradual changes in sensor values over time, and determine a system condition using a hybrid decision-making mechanism that combines rule-based logic with machine learning classification. A dashboard interface (108) displays system status, warnings, and health indicators based on the determined system condition. (Fig. 1)
