MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641090970 A) filed by Christ University on July 27, 2026, for Predictive System For Technology Acceptance And Techfin User Adoption.
Inventors include Ms. Joyce John Wesley; and Dr. Raghunandan G.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a predictive system for technology acceptance and TechFin user adoption that employs artificial intelligence, machine learning, and behavioral analytics to accurately forecast the likelihood of users adopting and continuously utilizing digital financial technologies. The system integrates heterogeneous data collected from multiple sources, including demographic information, financial transaction records, mobile application usage, customer interaction history, digital engagement patterns, service utilization, and contextual environmental factors. The acquired data undergo pre-processing involving data cleaning, normalization, feature encoding, anomaly detection, and feature engineering to generate optimized datasets for predictive analysis. An adaptive machine learning prediction engine processes the engineered features to estimate user adoption probability and classify users based on their technology acceptance behavior. The invention further incorporates a behavioral analytics module that evaluates factors such as perceived usefulness, ease of use, trust, security perception, financial literacy, customer satisfaction, and digital engagement to improve prediction accuracy. An Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) module provides transparent interpretation of prediction results by identifying the most influential features contributing to adoption decisions. A decision support module generates personalized recommendations for customer onboarding, targeted marketing, retention strategies, and digital service optimization. The invention also includes privacy-preserving data management, encrypted communication, secure authentication, and scalable deployment capabilities suitable for cloud, edge, and enterprise computing environments. By integrating intelligent data processing, adaptive learning, explainable prediction, and secure decision support into a unified framework, the proposed invention enhances technology acceptance forecasting, improves customer engagement, supports strategic decision-making, and promotes efficient adoption of digital financial services across modern TechFin ecosystems.
