Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is an elderly care watch comprising a wearable housing, a sensor assembly, a processing unit, an inference module, a communication unit, and a location unit. The sensor assembly generates physiological and motion signals from a user. The processing unit filters the signals and forms a sensor-data window for local analysis. The inference module classifies the sensor-data window into a user condition including a predicted risk condition or an emergency condition. The communication unit transmits an alert message to a stored caregiver contact when the predicted risk condition or the emergency condition is generated. The location unit supplies location data for inclusion in the alert message. The watch may further include a user interaction unit for reminders and audible prompts, thereby supporting independent elderly care through local monitoring, condition classification, and automatic emergency reporting.
