Abstract: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a highly aggressive cancer with limited treatment options and strong metastatic potential. This study investigates the anti-metastatic effects of silver nanoparticles synthesized from dragon fruit peel extract (DFP-AgNPs) against TNBC cells. The green synthesized nanoparticles exhibited significant anticancer activity by inducing ferroptosis through increased reactive oxygen species generation, lipid peroxidation, and iron-dependent oxidative stress. Additionally, DFP-AgNPs effectively inhibited cancer cell migration and invasion, demonstrating promising anti-metastatic potential. These findings suggest that dragon fruit peel-derived silver nanoparticles could serve as an eco-friendly and effective therapeutic approach for TNBC treatment.
