Abstract: Provided in the present application are a preparation method for a lithium iron phosphate positive electrode material, a positive electrode material and a battery. The preparation method comprises: (I) mixing an iron phosphate precursor, a lithium source, a dopant, a carbon source and a solvent, so as to obtain a dispersion; (II) subjecting the dispersion to wet grinding, so as to obtain an intermediate material; and (III) sequentially calcining and crushing the intermediate material, so as to obtain a lithium iron phosphate positive electrode material. In the present application, by controlling the sanding particle size, the sintering temperature and the particle size distribution of lithium iron phosphate particles, the compaction density of the positive electrode material is improved, and the electrochemical performance is improved.
