Abstract: ABSTRACT: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cocoon earring.The cut and pierced cocoons are obtained as the unwanted product during the production of silk. Cocoons were dyed with a reactive dye under various conditions.Natural pigments and Dyes enhance the value of the product created. However, the chemical dyes which are used to dye the silk yarn are the economical alternative.The dyeing of the cocoon adds more value.After dyeing , dry the cocoons.Cutting of cocoon shells to required shapes based on the end product.This preparation includes the use of hoops, beads and Hook which are joined together to form a cocoon earring.The pierced cocoon should join to the bead with a cocoon shell using the hoop. Then the top of the cocoon shell joins the Hook using hoops. Finally finish the cocoon earring according to the required design.
