Abstract: Prescripto is a web-based healthcare management system built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). It is designed to simplify healthcare operations such as appointment scheduling, digital prescription management, and secure online payments. The platform provides an easy-to-use interface and a strong backend system that helps patients, doctors, and administrators interact efficiently while reducing manual work and errors. The system supports role-based access with JWT authentication, allowing different features for each user type. Patients can register, view doctor profiles, book appointments, make payments through Razorpay, and access their medical history. Doctors can manage appointments, consult with patients, and generate digital prescriptions, while administrators can oversee the entire system by managing users, doctors, appointments, prescriptions, and transactions through real- time analytical dashboards. The extended version of Prescripto includes advanced features such as an AI-powered chatbot that helps patients with instant support, system navigation, and general health queries. It also introduces a post-prescription management feature, allowing doctors to upload or update prescriptions even after consultations. Patients can securely download these updated prescriptions, ensuring better follow-up care and improving the overall healthcare experience. Overall, Prescripto enhances healthcare service delivery by digitizing routine processes and improving communication between patients and healthcare providers. Its scalable architecture and responsive design make it suitable for individual doctors, clinics, and multi-specialty hospitals, helping them modernize their workflow and provide a more efficient, transparent, and patient-centered healthcare experience.
