The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Processes include treating natural organic materials from diverse waste sources using nitric acid (HNO3) as the primary chemical under pressure conditions. The pressurizing medium includes air, NOx, N2, CO2, O2, O3, and NH3 and their mixtures under pressure between about 10 psi and about 750 psi, at a temperature ranging from about 25°C to about 100°C and for a duration ranging from about 0.1 hours to about 72 hours. The resulting fibers and effluent can be used to make cellulose- based farming products, such as biogel growing media, soilless substrate binding agents, water and nutrient retention agents, and liquid fertilizers.
