Abstract: Disclosed is a counselling communication system having a user terminal with a housing, camera, microphone, display, speaker, privacy selector, opaque shutter, contact assembly, and network interface. The privacy selector moves between professional and anonymous positions to expose or occlude the camera and to connect corresponding professional or peer signal paths. A server system provides token authentication, an artificial-intelligence guidance engine that generates preliminary guidance and an escalation indication from user input, a professional-counselling interface, and a moderated peer interface. Live professional audio or video counselling and anonymous peer interaction are selectively established while the server system maintains the same token-authenticated session and encrypted communication. Mechanical coupling between the selector, shutter, and contact assembly associates physical camera privacy with signal-path selection.
