The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: A privacy-preserving edge computing framework for real-time surveillance in smart transportation networks is disclosed. The system comprises distributed edge surveillance nodes (110) configured to locally process video streams using a privacy-preserving feature abstraction module (120) that transforms raw frames into anonymized feature vectors. A real-time analytics engine (130) detects traffic anomalies without transmitting raw video data. A hardware encryption module (140) secures model updates, while a federated learning client module (150) computes differentially private gradient updates. Encrypted gradients are securely aggregated at a regional aggregation server (160) and redistributed via a supervisory orchestration server (170). The framework ensures ultra-low latency analytics, bandwidth efficiency, and enhanced privacy protection by eliminating centralized storage of raw surveillance data.
