Abstract: The invention relates to digital retrieval and verification of archival electoral data, and particularly to a system and computer- implemented method for searching noisy legacy electoral records using probabilistic fuzzy matching. A user input and filter interface receives voter name, relative name, and optional constituency, gender, and age inputs, whereupon an application server selects archival partitions from a legacy electoral record repository, normalizes query text, and batch-loads candidate records. A fuzzy matching engine and a relative-name correlation submodule generate similarity values, while a demographic and attribute filter module evaluates compatibility of optional attributes. A probabilistic match ranking engine produces composite confidence scores, and a result aggregation and sorting module outputs ranked result cards in a result presentation and verification interface. An original scanned document linkage module resolves record-to-source metadata to retrieve corresponding scanned source pages or documents for record verification.
