Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a process for preparation of ketorolac tromethamine sublingual tablet and tablet composition therefor. The process comprises dry mixing ketorolac tromethamine, a diluent, and an antistatic agent to form a dry mix blend; intermediate blending a cushioning agent, a sweetener and a disintegrating agent to form an intermediate blend; drug blending the dry mix blend and the intermediate blend to form a drug blend; preparing a lubricated drug blend comprising sifting a lubricant, and lubricating the drug blend with the lubricant to form a lubricated drug blend; and compressing the lubricated drug blend to form a ketorolac tromethamine sublingual tablet.
