Abstract: The proposed invention relates to production optimized solenoid valve design with mono-block bobbin wherein the necessity of additional non-magnetic parts and associated jointing processes followed by testing and evaluation of such joints, are totally dispensed with. Construction of this design permits axial flow of working fluid from the inlet tube (1), having pleated filter (2) at the inlet to prevent entry of external contaminants. Plunger (3) is the moving element to which soft seal is retained by crimping and forming a poppet assembly. The magnetic field produced by solenoid pushes the plunger inside the valve. In closed position plunger blocks the flow path when coil is de-energized and in energized condition of magnet, plunger is pulled up which opens the valve allowing the fluid to pass. In valve open position the reverse operation occurs. It also helps in forming the magnetic circuit efficiently. So a solenoid valve with bobbin uses electromagnetic force generated by the coil wound on the bobbin to m
