Abstract: A protective and health monitoring footwear device, comprising an ergonomic footwear 101, a motorized lacing unit 102 measures foot size and shape and enable a microcontroller providing a personalized snug fit, a groove with a motorized iris lid 105 and equipped with a plurality of pneumatic pins 106 deploys upon detection of surface angle and stability changes in terrain, detected by an integrated inclinometer, multiple of heating elements 107 to actively monitor foot temperature and accordingly maintain optimal temperatures for user comfort, a massaging unit to provide massage therapy to user, a vital monitoring unit monitors user’s pulse variability and body temperature and enable the microcontroller generates an alert upon detection of abnormal conditions and a gait monitoring unit monitors walking patterns and movement dynamics and enable the microcontroller detects neurological condition indicators and accordingly deliver an alert to a connected user interface.
