Abstract: The titled invention discloses a wearable cap for overhead obstacle detection and head protection for visually impaired pedestrians. The invention enhances safe and independent navigation for visually impaired users by combining protective and assistive functionalities in a lightweight wearable configuration. The wearable cap (1) comprises a head insert (2) and a visor (3) with a distance sensor (7) and an alarm (8) integrated within a compact wearable structure. The distance sensor (7) continuously detects nearby obstacles located within the walking path of the user, and the electronic interface (6) activates the alarm (8) upon detection of hazards within a predetermined sensing range. The flexible solar cell (4) charges the rechargeable lithium-ion battery for prolonged operation.
