Abstract: The present invention relates to a pull-out device (1) for a cooking appliance, having at least one side grid (2) with a plurality of horizontal struts (4, 5) which can be used at least in part to support an edge of a food carrier (11), wherein at least one pull-out guide (6, 6') is fixed on the side grid (2) via fastening means (30, 40) and comprises a stationary guide rail (7, 7') and a rail (9, 9') that is movable relative to the stationary guide rail (7, 7'), wherein a cover (10, 10') with a rest (12) for the food carrier (11) is fixed on the movable rail (9, 9'), wherein the cover (10, 10') is fixed releasably on the movable rail (9, 9') via locking means (16, 17; 16', 17'). A pull-out device (1) of this kind is preferably used in a cooking appliance in order to move a food carrier (11).
