For some embodiments, the method may further include receiving a metric configuration message, wherein the metric configuration message may include a metric scheme, and wherein the metric scheme comprises at least one rule or step corresponding to at least one metric of the set of one or more metrics. For some embodiments, the method may further include establishing a media session with an application function (AF) server for a 5G media streaming service; and determining the one or more metrics to collect for the media session.
