Abstract: An embodiment herein introduces a Hybrid Quantum-Classical Processing system for identification of repurposable therapeutic candidates for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) using Drug Target Interaction prediction and molecular docking validation. The proposed system comprises a Database Server (101) for retrieving biological datasets, a Hybrid Quantum-Classical Processing Server (102) for coordinating computational operations, a High-Performance Processing Unit (103) for feature processing, a Quantum Computing Engine (104) for generation of Quantum representations and a Molecular Docking Engine (105) for therapeutic validation. The system further includes a Memory Unit (106), Storage Unit (107), Communication Interface (108) and Interaction Ranking Module (109) for data management and therapeutic prioritization. Functional processing through Data Collection Unit (201), Quantum Feature Encoding Unit (203) and Parameterized Quantum Circuit with Data Re-uploading (205) enables prediction and prioritization of therapeutic candidates associated with ALS. Figure 1 shows the schematic overview of the proposed Hybrid Quantum-Classical Processing system illustrating key components and interconnections according to an embodiment herein.
