MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611115632 A) filed by Gla University, Mathura on September 26, 2026, for Quantum Computing-Based System And Process For Optimizing Grid Stability With Renewable Energy And Electric Vehicle Integration.
Inventor includes Kanchan Yadav.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a quantum computing-based system and process (100) for optimizing grid stability in an electrical power grid integrating renewable energy sources (101) and electric vehicles (103). A real-time data acquisition unit (104) acquires grid, renewable generation and electric vehicle data, which is processed by a classical processing unit (105) to formulate a grid optimization problem. A quantum computing module (108) encodes and solves the optimization problem using a quantum optimization algorithm to generate a candidate optimized solution (112). A control and execution unit (113) executes corresponding control actions through actuators (114) for power dispatch, EV charging, energy storage, load balancing and voltage/frequency regulation. A feedback mechanism (116) provides updated grid conditions through a feedback loop (115) for adaptive re-optimization.
