Abstract: ABSTRACT The rapid growth of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has intensified concerns regarding long-term data security, especially in the presence of emerging quantum computing technologies. Classical cryptographic algorithms such as RSA and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC), widely used in IoT systems, are vulnerable to quantum attacks enabled by Shor’s and Grover’s algorithms. This project proposes a quantum-resistant encryption framework designed specifically for resource- constrained IoT environments. The system evaluates the vulnerability of classical encryption schemes under quantum attack models and implements post-quantum cryptographic (PQC) algorithms to ensure future-proof security. By integrating lattice-based encryption techniques with lightweight communication protocols such as MQTT, the framework enables secure key exchange, authentication, and encrypted data transfer between IoT devices and servers. The proposed solution demonstrates enhanced resistance to quantum attacks while maintaining acceptable performance in terms of latency, memory usage, and energy consumption, making it suitable for real-world IoT deployments.
