MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541121239 A) filed by Qnfoundrix Systems Private Limited on December 03, 2025, for Quantum-Safe Secure Erase System And Related Methods.

Inventor includes Christy Rajkumar Selvaraju.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: A quantum-safe secure erase system (1) for secure erasure and attestation of data in non-volatile storage media is disclosed. The system comprises a Host System (1A), a storage controller (10) coupled to the Host System (1A) and a Flash Translation Layer (20), non-volatile storage media including a NAND Flash Array (30), and a Q- SSE Drive Security Engine (100) integrated with, coupled to, adjacent to, or operating in conjunction with the storage controller (10) or the Flash Translation Layer (20). The Q-SSE Drive Security Engine (100) includes a PQC Key Management Module (101) for generating entropy, nonces, challenges, or cryptographic tokens and for selectively performing key destruction, key invalidation, or key retirement operations; a Secure Erase Execution Engine (102) for enumerating erase scope and executing NAND-native or media-native erase operations; an AI-Based Residual Validation Engine (103) for classifying residual risk, verification coverage, or erasure effectiveness; a Merkle-Root Ledger Generator (104) for building a tamper-evident log of erasure events; and an Attestation Output Module (105) for generating a PQC-signed erase proof and providing the proof for independent verification by an authorized verifier.
