MUMBAI, India, July 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641089061 A) filed by G. Mathan; and A. Kasthuri on July 22, 2026, for Quantum-Secured Rehabilitation Assessment System And Method Thereof.

Inventor includes G. Mathan.

The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a quantum-secured rehabilitation assessment system (100) and method for secure neuromotor evaluation. The system (100) comprises a wearable sensing unit (10) configured to acquire physiological movement data, an edge processing unit (20) configured to generate encrypted telemetry data, a quantum key generation unit (30) configured to generate a high-dimensional quantum key sequence, an optical transmission unit (40) configured to multiplex and transmit the encrypted telemetry data and the high-dimensional quantum key sequence through an optical communication medium (42), and a synchronization buffer unit (50) configured to delay the high-dimensional quantum key sequence for synchronized decryption. A diagnostic processing engine (60) processes the decrypted physiological movement data, performs kinematic demultiplexing to segregate involuntary neuromotor activity from intended motor activity, and generates a filtered rehabilitation assessment output. An explainability interface unit (70) generates a dual-stream diagnostic presentation comprising rehabilitation assessment outputs and pathological movement information.
