Abstract: A wearable device includes a body supporting a conformal multiband antenna configured to capture ambient radio-frequency (RF) signals from one or more external RF sources across a plurality of frequency bands. The captured RF signals are supplied to a matching stage and converted by a rectifier circuit into harvested electrical energy. A controller monitors one or more parameters including a charge status of a battery, user activity, environmental conditions, and an input power received from the rectifier circuit. Based on the monitored parameters, the controller determines an amount of available electrical energy and a power demand of one or more components of the wearable device. The controller performs maximum power point tracking (MPPT), compares the monitored parameters with corresponding thresholds, and determines a power-allocation strategy. Power is selectively allocated from harvested electrical energy, battery energy, or a combination thereof. Surplus harvested electrical energy may be routed to charge the battery. The wearable device further supports activity-based power management, adaptive sensing, low- power operation, biometric tracking, gesture control, and passive authentication. [[
