Abstract: Abstract "[505] The present invention relates to a novel, synergistic Ayurvedic medicinal formulation and treatment method for various types of cancers (tumors), including blood cancer (leukemia). Conventional cancer therapies, such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, are often expensive, associated with severe side effects that damage healthy cells, and do not guarantee complete eradication or prevention of disease recurrence. There is a need for a safer, more affordable, and effective treatment modality that can address the root cause of the disease without side effects." This invention provides a unique herbal formulation, designated as 'Specific Ayurvedic Cancer Ingredient No. 2', which includes more than 70 different herbs (medicinal plants) in equal proportions. These include Madagascar Periwinkle (Sadabahar), Turmeric (Haldi), Tree Turmeric (Daruhaldi), Kanchnar bark, Guggul, Garlic (Lahsun), Ashoka, Neem, Giloy, Ashwagandha, and others. This formulation, combined with a common medicinal base ingredient (Common Medicinal Ingredient No. 1), treats cancer through a multi-dimensional approach: it balances the Tridosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), purifies the Rakta (blood) and Mamsa (muscle) Dhatus (tissues), blocks the nutrition of the tumor (Arbuda), and enhances immunity. The treatment method described in the present invention involves administering this formulation to the patient in the form of a medicinal powder or decoction (Kwath). Instead of merely suppressing the symptoms of the disease, this method focuses on eliminating the root cause. This treatment process significantly reduces the risk of the disease re-emerging, even after surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy. This system provides a safe, effective, and cost-efficient alternative or adjuvant therapy at various stages of cancer, without the side effects of conventional treatments."
