Abstract: ABSTRACT “RAPID POINT-OF-CARE TEST KIT FOR DETECTION OF URINARY CREATININE” The present invention relates to a rapid point-of-care diagnostic test kit for detection and quantification of urinary creatinine. The test kit comprises a sensing unit containing a biomimetic molecularly imprinted polymer and a sterile urine collection container. The biomimetic molecularly imprinted polymer comprises creatinine-specific binding cavities formed using creatinine as a template molecule and is loaded with an indicator dye. The sensing unit is configured for transduction-based detection through optical sensing, electrochemical sensing, quartz crystal microbalance (QCM)-based piezoelectric sensing, and surface acoustic wave (SAW)-based sensing systems. Upon interaction with a urine sample, creatinine selectively interacts with the imprinted cavities to generate measurable analytical outputs indicative of urinary creatinine levels. The test kit enables rapid, portable, and selective detection of urinary creatinine without requiring laboratory infrastructure or analytical instrumentation.
