The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: This project presents an end-to-end system for real-time posture monitoring, correction and IoT-enabled logging. The system integrates a vision-based posture recognition pipeline using MediaPipe pose estimation, a rule-based posture classification using anatomically derived joint-angle thresholds, a lightweight decision logic for staged user alerts, and an embedded microcontroller (Raspberry Pi Pico) that handles local haptic and audible feedback. A Flask-based web interface provides live video streaming, monitoring controls, real-time status and counters, and remote logging of sustained posture errors to a cloud endpoint. The objectives include robust posture detection under natural movement, timely correction prompts, low-latency embedded actuation, and persistent logging for analytics.
