Abstract: Title: REAL-TIME ATTENDANCE MONITORING SYSTEM WITH PROXY 5 PREVENTION USING FACIAL RECOGNITION AND GEOLOCATION The titled invention ~iscloses an attendance monitoring system to solve the common problem of proxy attendance in educational institutions. The system makes attendance more reliable by verifying both the identity and the physical presence of students. It I 0 uses facial verification through the facial recognition and database comparison module (5) to ensure the correct student is marking attendance and location validation via the student dashboard module (2) to confirm that the student is actually present at the assigned place. The faculty dashboard module (1) enables the faculty to control the attendance session by assigning the location and monitoring participation. Students 15 are required to actively take part in the session through the quiz participation and answer verification module (3) before their attendance is confirmed. The system captures student images using the camera and image capture module (4) and processes them for authentication. Based on verification results, the attendance decision module (6) determines whether the attendance should be marked. Once 20 confirmed, attendance records are automatically compiled using the attendance file generation module (7) and stored through the server upload and storage module (8). The reporting and notification module (9) generates reports and sends alerts to faculty and stakeholders regarding attendance status.
