Abstract: A real-time traffic violation detection and penalty enforcement system, comprises of a frame having a pair of telescopically operated to get extended for positioning a cuboidal body 102 integrated between the rods 101 at an optimum position from road surface, multiple imaging unit 104 to detect traffic violations, an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) module for recognizing alphanumeric characters of vehicle registration number plate, a RADAR gun 105 for detecting speed of the incoming vehicular traffic, a pair of primary motorized pivot joints 110 work with a pair of secondary motorized pivot joints 111 for tilting a conical member 109 linked with a V- shaped telescopic link 107 towards the defaulter vehicle/ rider, a speaker 108 to produce audio alerts for the rider, a dust detection sensor 112 for detecting level of dust accumulated over body 102, and a rain detection sensor for detecting intensity of rain in surroundings.
