Abstract: REGENERATIVE ENERGY HARVESTING ATTACHMENT FOR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT Abstract of the Invention The present invention relates to a regenerative energy harvesting attachment for exercise equipment configured to convert mechanical energy generated during exercise into electrical energy. The attachment comprises a housing assembly accommodating roller assemblies, one-way clutch mechanisms, a transmission shaft, an electrical generator, electrical conditioning circuitry, and an energy storage subsystem. The roller assemblies are configured to engage bidirectional movement of an exercise cable such that rotational motion is generated during both upward and downward cable movement. The generated electrical energy is rectified, regulated, and stored in rechargeable batteries through associated control circuitry. The invention further comprises regulated output interfaces including USB charging ports and display modules for monitoring operational parameters. The attachment is compact, retrofit-compatible with existing cable-pulley exercise equipment, and enables efficient recovery and utilization of human-generated mechanical energy during exercise operations.
