Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a remote inspection drone for visual assessment of restricted spaces. The drone includes a protective body, a plurality of motor units, respective propellers, a power unit, an imaging assembly, a stabilization assembly, and a navigation and control unit. The protective body supports the flight and observation components. The motor units generate lift through the propellers, and the power unit supplies electrical power to the operating components. The imaging assembly captures visual information from an inspection area. The stabilization assembly is coupled between the protective body and the imaging assembly to maintain the orientation of the imaging assembly during movement of the protective body. The navigation and control unit supports remote flight control and transmission of captured visual information to a remote operator interface. The drone is useful for inspecting rooms, corridors, enclosed spaces, entry zones, and outdoor inspection regions.
