MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621101229 A) filed by Thrustworks Dynetics Private Limited on August 21, 2026, for Resonance Ignition System And Method Of Operating Resonance Ignition System.

Inventors include Kalyani Shinde; Asmi Raipalli; and Yash Mane.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: A resonance ignition system (100) comprises a convergent nozzle (110). The convergent nozzle (110) comprises a nozzle inlet (112) for receiving a pressurized gas and a nozzle throat (114) defined at a nozzle outlet (116). The convergent nozzle (110) is configured to accelerate the pressurized gas to sonic velocity and discharge an under-expanded supersonic gas jet. The resonance ignition system (100) further comprises a resonance tube (120) including an open proximal inlet (122) disposed coaxially with and axially spaced apart from the nozzle outlet (116), the open proximal inlet (122) being positioned within a jet instability zone (124) to receive oscillating compression waves. The resonance tube (120) further includes a tubular cavity (130), a closed distal end (126) for forming a localized thermal hot spot (128), and a flame outlet nozzle (140) configured to discharge a high-temperature flame.
