Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a retrofit adaptive vehicle environmental control system for automated control of vehicle windows and air-conditioning based on multi-sensor environmental monitoring and reinforcement learning. The system comprises a microphone module (201), air-quality sensor (202), humidity sensor (203), temperature sensor (206), primary microcontroller (204), relay module (205), heavy-duty servo motor (207), auxiliary learning co-processor (208), and manual override switch panel (209). The primary microcontroller (204) generates a unified state vector from sensed environmental parameters and controls the servo motor (207) and relay module (205). The auxiliary learning co-processor (208) employs an epsilon-greedy tabular Q-learning policy to select window and air- conditioning actions. Occupant manual overrides are utilized as implicit reward feedback for updating the action-value function. The learned policy is stored in non- volatile memory for persistence across ignition cycles, while manual override remains immediately available to the occupant.
