Abstract: A modified dental articulator comprising an incisal guide pin (11), a mounting base (10), a maxillary model plate (15), an occlusal plane bar (16), a metallic platform (17), adjustment screws (18), and a horizontal condylar path adjuster (19) is disclosed. The metallic platform (17) is mounted on a lower member through vertically adjustable aluminium adjustment screws (18) configured to maintain three-pin jaw relation during articulation. The occlusal plane bar (16) provides cast alignment and orientation, while a plastic cup assembly in the upper member accommodates different cast sizes and reduces plaster spillage. The arrangement improves cast stability, articulation precision, cleanliness, reusability and material utilization. The modified configuration simplifies cast mounting procedures and reduces displacement during articulation, thereby facilitating accurate prosthodontic procedures.
