Abstract: A rug tufting device, includes a rectangular platform 101 having four telescopic rods 102, motorized omnidirectional wheels 103 are present underneath the platform, at the ends for providing locomotion to platform 101, a primary roller 104 having a spool of fabric 105, a pair of vertical sliding units 106 located on two sides of roller 104, clippers 107 provided on sliding units 106 to grip an open end of fabric, a pair of clamps 108 for gripping a bottom end of fabric, a robotic arm 109 for punching a thread from a yarn, a robotic link 110 having a lint shaver 111 at the end for removing lint from fabric, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 112 to determine a complete tufting, a microphone 113 for receiving an audio command from user for initiating tufting process, a touch-enabled display 114 to provide touch input regarding initiating tufting process.
