Abstract: Abstract: Disaster management in Northeast India faces significant challenges, including recurrent natural disasters, inadequate infrastructure, and limited real-time data, necessitating effective management, assessment, and accurate forecasting to ensure safety and minimize risks. To address these issues, the “System for Disaster Assessment and Forecasting of Emergency Risks using Geo-Spatial Data” (SAFER) is introduced as a web and app-based platform that leverages advanced geospatial technologies for precise disaster assessment of floods and landslides using satellite data from Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2. For disaster prediction, the system integrates a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model and includes features such as voice-controlled geospatial maps, real-time alerts, and an intelligent ambulance booking system with multilingual support. The voice-controlled interface enhances accessibility by allowing users to speak and receive spoken responses, thereby supporting better emergency responses through real-time alerts, detailed reports, and actionable analytics.
