Abstract: Disclosed is a Sanskrit pronunciation and lexical learning system using viseme-based articulation assessment. The system comprises one or more processors and a memory storing executable instructions. The executable instructions cause the one or more processors to generate a digital gameplay interface comprising Sanskrit lexical tokens, receive a user selection input corresponding to a selected Sanskrit lexical token, and present Sanskrit phonetic content associated with the selected Sanskrit lexical token. A real-time facial image feed of a user is received during pronunciation of a Sanskrit phonetic unit. Perioral landmark data is extracted from the real-time facial image feed. A reference viseme representation corresponding to the Sanskrit phonetic unit is generated and compared with the perioral landmark data to determine articulation deviation. A real-time pronunciation correction output is generated based on the articulation deviation, and a learning performance score is generated based on the user selection input and the articulation deviation.
