The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: There is provided a solution for configuring sensing reference signal resources. According to an aspect, a method comprises in a terminal device: receiving configuration for a sensing service from an access node; receiving, from the access node in downlink control information, a sensing reference signal configuration for at least one of a communication reference signal and a data signal and, further, for a dummy data signal; and performing one of the following: receiving, from the access node, a downlink sensing reference signal comprising the dummy data signal and the at least one of the communication reference signal and the data signal and generating, based on the received downlink sensing reference signal, sensing measurement data for the sensing service; or transmitting to the access node an uplink sensing reference signal comprising the dummy data signal and the at least one of the communication reference signal and the data signal.
