Abstract: In response to the increasing need for efficient and digitized educational management systems, this research presents the development of a smart and user-friendly school attendance application. The proposed system is designed to streamline the process of attendance tracking while fostering enhanced communication between teachers and parents. This mobile application employs a rolebased interface, providing tailored access and functionality depending on whether the user is a teacher or a parent. Teachers can securely log in, view their profile, access only the classes they handle, and mark daily student attendance with ease. Simultaneously, parents can track their child’s attendance in real-time, promoting transparency and accountability. The application ensures data integrity and user authentication, supporting secure record maintenance. Additionally, the app generates comprehensive attendance reports, highlighting students with low attendance using a visual color-coded system, thereby aiding early intervention. By minimizing manual errors and administrative burden, this school attendance application represents a significant step toward integrating digital solutions into the academic environment. The system ultimately aims to improve operational efficiency in schools while fostering a collaborative relationship between educators and parents.
