Abstract: A seat frame (100) and a sofa assembly. The seat frame (100) comprises a back plate (1), a first side wall (2), and a second side wall (3), wherein the first side wall (2) and the second side wall (3) are both arranged in a length direction (D1); in a width direction (D2) perpendicular to the length direction (D1), the back plate (1) is connected between the first side wall (2) and the second side wall (3) and near rear ends of the first side wall (2) and the second side wall (3); and the back plate (1), the first side wall (2), and the second side wall (3) are selected from one or more of a blow-molded member, an injection-molded member, an extrusion-molded member, and a wood plastic member. As compared with traditional wooden frames, the total number of components can be reduced by manufacturing components of the seat frame by means of blow molding, injection molding, extrusion molding, or wood-plastic processes. Moreover, the manufacturing process can rely on industrial automatic production, and therefore, the produced components often have relatively high consistency.
