The method comprises determining a first seating height of a seating member (151) based on the received user input. The method comprises determining a first actuator position of at least one actuator (106) associated with the straddle type vehicle (100) based on the determined first seating height. The method comprises determining a second actuator position. The method comprises determining a direction of movement of the at least one actuator (106) based on the determined second (current) actuator position and the determined first actuator position. The method comprises controlling a movement of the at least one actuator (106) based on the determined direction of movement and the determined first actuator position.
