Abstract: Provided are a secondary battery and an electric device. The secondary battery comprises a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet and an electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode sheet comprises a positive-electrode current collector and a positive- electrode active material layer, and the negative electrode sheet comprises a negative-electrode current collector and a negative- electrode active material layer; the coating weight of the positive-electrode active material layer is Wz, the coating weight of the negative-electrode active material layer is Wf, and Wz and Wf satisfy: 1.6Wf=Wz=2.2Wf, and 3.25 mg/cm2=Wf=5.84 mg/cm2; the positive-electrode current collector integrally extends to form a plurality of positive electrode tabs, and the negative-electrode current collector integrally extends to form a plurality of negative electrode tabs; and the electrolyte comprises an organic solvent, a lithium salt and an additive, the organic solvent comprises a chain carboxylic ester compound, and based on the mass of the electrolyte, the mass percentage content of the chain carboxylic ester compound is 6% to 56%. By means of the arrangement, the secondary battery has a low temperature rise during charging on the basis of improving the charging speed of the secondary battery, thereby improving the dynamic performance of the secondary battery.
