Abstract: A secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: an electrode assembly; an exterior material formed of a sheet so as to have an internal space for accommodating the electrode assembly and an exterior material opening for communicating the internal space with the outside; and a cap for covering the exterior material opening. The cap may comprise: an exterior portion coupled to the exterior material; and a terminal portion disposed to cover the exterior material opening with the exterior portion, exposed to the outside and the inside of the exterior portion, and electrically connected to the electrode assembly at a portion exposed to the inside of the exterior portion. The terminal portion may include a material having lower moisture permeability than a material included in the exterior portion. The area in which the terminal portion covers the exterior material opening may be 90% or more of the area in which the cap covers the exterior material opening.
